Beachlands
A two storey architectural family home with plenty of tricky details to keep Dan entertained (it is what he loves best). A great result for the family who loved living and enjoying the harbour views from their beautiful, sunny and immaculately finished hardwood deck and entertaining area upstairs.
This project was a joint effort with design done by Hayley and construction skilfully completed by Dan.
Beachlands
An immaculate cedar and weatherboard clad two storey house in Beachlands. Designed by Hayley and build by Dan, the house was light timber frame construction, with a vaulted ceiling feature in the living area and expansive patio and deck areas. This house was a pleasure to build and Dan and the team paid attention to every detail of the house to ensure it would meet the very high expectations of the owner
East Auckland
A high end 3 storey expansive family home on a fairly steep (and very windy) site in Eatern Auckland - particularly challenging in the ground work with many storms making the timing exciting! This modern house was constructed with a block basement level, concrete midfloors and steel for days. With the design provided by a third party, Dan particularly enjoyed the large scale of the project and the challenges that this brought about in the co-ordination of all the trades and materials on site to achieve a top quality product for the owners & their family to enjoy.
Matarangi
A stunning single story beach house in Matarangi designed by Hayley and built by Dan for a retired couple to enjoy their days & all the things they love. Light timber frame construction on beautifully polished concrete floors, with a combination of coloursteel, cedar and honed block cladding. This house was built in the height of the pandemic where co-ordinating materials and sub-trades was a bit of a challenge but Dan took it all in his stride. Once again Dan and the team really enjoyed executing the details in the cladding and interior areas with precision & pride!
Beachlands
A light and airy two story modern take on a boathouse Dan completed in 2020. Expansive glazing in the lower living areas was a challenge due to the sheer weight of it & small tolerances to work within - but the results are awesome!
Another great example of Dan and Hayley working together on both design and construction.
